Job summary
Amex GBT in Manila is seeking a senior developer to design and maintain Compleat functions and build API integrations to streamline travel workflows.
The role requires 5+ years in travel, 3+ years with Compleat or similar platforms, and strong English communication. You will work in a hybrid setup three days per week from the local office.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, handle support requests, and stay current with AI-assisted tooling to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in travel industry, ideally in a travel agency or corporate travel management company.
- 3+ years development experience with Compleat or a similar travel agency automation platform.
- 3+ years hands-on experience using GDS systems, specifically Sabre
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Flexibility to work hybrid (3 days in Manila office) to align with US business hours.
Responsibilities
- Create new and maintain existing Compleat functions; design and implement API integrations to streamline workflows.
- Research and respond to support requests from internal customers; thoroughly test and document functionality.
- Liaise with other teams to address issues impacting Compleat functionality; monitor roadblocks.
- Attend meetings and lead when needed; communicate risks to leadership.
