Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in financial controller or auditor roles in a large financial institution or Big 4
• Experience with IAS19 and IFRS2 is a plus
• Strong control mindset and investigative approach
• Able to connect topics impacting compensation book of work
• Analytical with strong organizational and communication skills
• Proactive and eager to learn
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and ensure ethical data use
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Critical thinking and self-sufficiency

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage timely delivery of monthly reports on compensation P&L and balance sheet
• Collaborate with Compensation Control SMEs on cost trends and deviations from forecast
• Support data aggregation, analysis and reporting for deferred compensation
• Develop understanding of deferred compensation and provide backup support
• Perform month-end journals and ensure accuracy of financials
• Manage month-end close and report late adjustments to relevant teams
• Perform validation and control on assigned compensation topics
• Prepare updates of the DWS Compensation Control Framework
