Job summary

• Assist in pre-employment and annual medical examinations.
• Coordinate with clinics, hospitals, and other providers as needed.

About the role

The Company Nurse is responsible for providing basic medical care and health services to employees, promoting workplace health and safety, maintaining medical records, and assisting in the implementation of occupational health programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid and basic medical care to employees who are sick or injured at work.
• Assess employees' health conditions and determine appropriate action, including referral to a physician or hospital when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and health documentation.
• Monitor and manage the company's first-aid supplies and medicines.
• Conduct health monitoring, including vital signs and basic health assessments.
• Assist in pre-employment and annual medical examinations.
• Coordinate with clinics, hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers when needed.
• Monitor work-related injuries and illnesses and prepare incident/medical reports.i
• Assist in implementing occupational health and safety programs.
• Participate in health education, wellness programs, vaccination drives, and other employee health initiatives.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid professional license.
• Preferably with experience as a company/occupational health nurse.
• Knowledge of first aid, emergency response, occupational health, and workplace safety.
• Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficient in basic documentation and computer applications.
