Toby’s Sports is seeking a proactive, licensed professional for a 3-month temporary contract as our Company Nurse & Payroll Coordinator. This hybrid role supports the HR team by maintaining workplace health and safety standards while providing hands-on administrative support for daily timekeeping, attendance records, and payroll processing.
The Company Nurse & Payroll Coordinator plays a dual-function role within the HR team, safeguarding the health, safety, and well-being of Toby's Sports employees while providing administrative support to timekeeping and payroll operations. This position ensures compliance with occupational safety and labor standards while championing an active, health-conscious workplace culture.
Provide prompt assessment, first aid, and basic medical care for Head Office personnel and coordinate support for store/warehouse medical incidents
Organize and support company wellness programs, annual physical examinations (APE), vaccination drives, and health education aligned with an active, sports-oriented lifestyle
Maintain complete, confidential employee medical records; assist in preparing and submitting statutory DOLE-OSHS compliance reports (e.g., WAIR, Annual Medical Reports)
Monitor, inventory, and replenish medical supplies, first aid kits, emergency medicines, and clinic equipment
Assist employees with HMO enrollment, claims, medical reimbursements, clinic referrals, and emergency hospital transfers when required
Assist in auditing daily time records (DTR), leaves, overtime, and attendance logs across head office and retail store teams
Assist the Payroll Specialist with data validation, pay adjustments, deductions, and documentation ahead of cutoff dates
Serve as a frontline HR helpdesk contact for basic employee questions regarding timekeeping, leave credits, government mandatory contributions, and payroll disputes
Ensure strict confidentiality of employee compensation records, medical files, and personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) with an active Philippine Registered Nurse (RN) license
At least 1 year of clinical, occupational health, or corporate HR support experience
Exposure to retail or multi-site operations is an advantage
Valid certifications in First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and/or ACLS
Working knowledge of DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS Rule 1020) and general labor standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Forms, Outlook) and comfortable utilizing HR information systems or automated ticketing platforms
High integrity and discretion handling confidential medical and compensation data
Strong sense of urgency and triage prioritization
Clear, professional communication across all organizational levels (executive, office, and store staff)
