Job Purpose:In-charge of the development and administration of occupational health services in accordance with the company policies, practices and procedures.
- Assures compliance with regulatory requirements to clinical operations.
- Responsible for medical/health records, equipment and programs related to Health and Safety.
- Evaluates and treats all injuries and illness and guide/direct all referrals to outside healthcare providers and services.
- Gives first aide treatments and proper medications to employees as needed.
- Coordinates with the retainer doctors and accredited hospitals.
- Observes and records symptoms and condition of a patient.
- Accompanies the injured employee to the nearest hospital, in cases of accident.
- Maintains medical and other related records of all employees.
- Go through diagnostic test results and medical certificate to evaluate result (APE/SSS Sickness/Pre-employment/Maternity/Company sick leave).
- Enroll candidates for Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) on the assigned schedule.
- Evaluates Medical Subsidy request and validates for its reimbursement.
- Monitors absence pattern especially AWOL and visits employees home if needed.
- Monitors the stock inventory of medicines and first aid kits and other necessary supplies from time to time.
- Ensures clinic and isolation area are clean, usable and adequate for the needs of employees.
- Screen and validate daily health declaration of employees and 3rd party in reference to the MPI Playbook.
- Ensures that the health and entry protocol are properly monitored and highlights any irregularities, issues and concerns.
- Closely coordinates with the Safety Officer in terms of the company’s Health and Safety Programs.
- Coordinates with the canteen concessionaire to ensure good, quality, and healthy food are being served on a daily basis.
- Audits and validates canteen services based on the Service Level Agreement.
- Report to the EECSR and/or the HR Manager for any employee services – canteen, clinic/isolation provision, health, and safety and entry protocol – concerns.
