Job summary

Awesome CX by Transcom is seeking a Company Nurse to administer first aid, conduct health assessments, and promote employee well-being at the Davao site. The role requires nursing licensure, BLS/First Aid certifications, and a willingness to rotate across all ACX sites.

The position emphasizes workplace safety, confidential medical record handling, and collaboration with HR for health programs and events. Onsite health initiatives and wellness resources are provided.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with valid PRC license.
• 6+ months hospital/clinic or company nurse experience.
• BLS and first aid certifications required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Flexible and dependable.
• Willing to rotate across ACX sites.
• Willing to work shifting schedule.
• Willing to assist during company events.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety programs.
• Provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
• Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
• Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area.
• Promote healthy eating and wellness programs.
• Document all employee injury and illness and keep information confidential.
• Improve the health of employees through ongoing programs and health checks.
• Develop strategies to ensure maximum employee work input.
• Secure and ensure that sick employees submit fit to work certificates.
• Validate medical certificates if true and valid.
• Schedule annual medical examinations for all employees.
• Generate medical reimbursement reports monthly.
• Conduct inventory of medicines and other supplies twice a month.
• Communicate with Human Resources & Management regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Awesome CX by Transcom is looking for talented individuals like you to join our awesome team! Be a Company Nurse for our Awesome CX by Transcom Davao site. This role is responsible for administering first aid, conducting comprehensive health assessments, and identifying potential health risks among employees. They also monitor workplace conditions and promote employee well-being by applying their professional medical training and clinical expertise in alignment with occupational health standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health and safety programs.
• Provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
• Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
• Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area.
• Promote healthy eating and wellness programs.
• Document all employee injury and illness and keep all information confidential.
• Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks.
• Develop strategies to ensure maximum employee work input.
• Secure and ensure that the sick employees submit "fit to work" certificates.
• Validates medical certificates if it is true and valid.
• Interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests based on the verification of medical certificates.
• Schedule (every first quarter of the year) and assist annual medical examination of all employees.
• Generate medical reimbursement reports every month.
• Conduct inventory of medicines and other supplies twice a month.
• Communicate with Human Resource & Management on a regular basis.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role, you must have...

• Must be a Registered Nurse (with valid PRC License)
• Preferably with at least 6 months of work experience as a Hospital/Clinic Nurse or Company Nurse
• Must have certifications in Basic Life Support and First Aid Training
• With good communications skills both verbal and written
• With good attention to details
• Flexible and dependable
• Willing to be assigned and to be rotated across all ACX sites
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule
• Willing to provide assistance during company events such as Sports Fest, YEP, Fun Run, island hopping and team building activities with clients
• Has basic knowledge on Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
