Job Description

The Company Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to and from various locations as assigned. This includes ensuring the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of goods while adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving and Transportation: Operate company vehicles (trucks, vans, etc.) safely and efficiently; plan and execute delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods; load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment; inspect vehicle before and after each trip, ensuring it is in safe operating condition; maintain accurate driving logs and records; adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and recipients; communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays; handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
• Safety and Compliance: Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards; maintain a clean and organized driving record; report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Other Duties: Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed; perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager/Supervisor.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Passenger) required.
