JOB SUMMARY
The Company Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, reliable, and efficient transportation services to the President and CEO for official meetings, business engagements, and authorized destinations. The role also supports vehicle maintenance, document handling, administrative errands, and other operational tasks as assigned. The position requires professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, punctuality, flexibility, and proper care in handling company-related instructions and assignments. The successful candidate must also be willing to travel and report daily from Laguna to Ortigas, as required by the position.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1. Safely transport the President and CEO to and from meetings, business engagements, official appointments, and other authorized destinations.
- 2. Ensure compliance with traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company driving standards.
- 3. Plan routes and monitor traffic conditions to ensure safe and punctual travel.
- 4. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, safe, and roadworthy.
- 5. Report vehicle maintenance concerns, damages, defects, and repair needs promptly.
- 6. Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, cleaning, registration, insurance, and other vehicle-related requirements.
- 7. Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, toll fees, parking fees, and other vehicle-related expenses.
- 8. Deliver and pick up confidential documents, packages, checks, supplies, and other company-related items as instructed.
- 9. Assist the President and CEO with administrative, clerical, operational errands, meeting preparations, and other assigned tasks.
- 10. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, punctuality, flexibility, and proper communication when dealing with company officers, employees, guests, and external parties.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 1. At least high school graduate; vocational or college education is an advantage.
- 2. Must possess a valid professional driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 3. With experience as a company driver, executive driver, personal driver, or related role is preferred.
- 4. Must be familiar with Metro Manila routes, Laguna routes, nearby provinces, traffic conditions, and alternative routes.
- 5. Must have basic knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and proper vehicle care.
- 6. Must be trustworthy, reliable, punctual, alert, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
- 7. Must have good communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
- 8. Must be physically fit and willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, early travel, late trips, weekends, or holidays when necessary.
- 9. Must be willing to travel and report daily from Laguna to Ortigas and accommodate the required work schedule.
- 10. Must demonstrate professionalism, discretion, accountability, patience, safety awareness, and strong work ethics.
