Job summary

San Miguel Integrated Logistics Services, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Cost Accountant to join the Finance / Commercial Pricing team. The role focuses on costing computations for warehousing, handling, and transport services and data-supported recommendations to evaluate service rates.

The ideal candidate has a BS Accountancy with 2+ years in cost accounting and financial planning, plus basic knowledge of tax accounting and proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• CPA is an advantage.
• With at least 2 years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting and Financial Planning.
• With basic knowledge of Tax Accounting.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and has experience in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Review and perform costing computations for the Company’s warehousing, handling, and transport services.
• Provide data-supported recommendations to help evaluate proposed service rates.
• Review profitability and endorse the proposed rates of Company’s services based on the set costing.
• Maintain and monitor Rates database of Financial Management Group.
• Assist in analyzing cost structures and maintaining standard costing.
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. standard) to identify and explain discrepancies.
• Prepare cost reports, basic profitability analyses, and highlight areas for potential cost savings.
• Collaborate with the team in preparing cost forecasts and annual budgets.
