We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Collections Team Leader to oversee and manage collections operations within the area. The successful candidate will lead a team of collections specialists, drive portfolio performance, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and implement strategies that improve recovery rates while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of field collectors to achieve individual and team performance targets.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly collections performance and provide actionable feedback.
Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize recovery rates and minimize delinquency.
Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
Review and analyze portfolio trends, aging reports, and collection metrics.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical collection practices.
Handle escalated customer concerns and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Risk, and Customer Service teams to improve collection processes.
Prepare and submit performance reports to regional and senior management.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend operational enhancements.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in field collections, credit management, or accounts receivable.
At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of collection strategies, portfolio management, and delinquency control.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
