Job summary

International SOS group is seeking a Collections Specialist to support US Government Services programs. The role focuses on processing and collecting cost-share and deductible amounts after insurance reimbursements, with member outreach and timely payment tracking.

This position emphasizes regulatory compliance (HIPAA and PCI), documentation in designated databases, collaboration with Operations Managers and US AR teams, and adherence to established cost-recovery protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Billing (preferably within healthcare or financial sectors).
• A Graduate of bachelor's degree (4 years course).
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with PCI/NACHA regulations or US medical billing/administration is a strong plus.
• Strong attention to detail, financial reconciliation skills, proactive problem-solving, and ability to work under tight timelines.
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Japanese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review reimbursement breakdowns, identify outstanding member balances, and initiate calls or send secure payment links (via PayTrace).
• Record and track all member interactions in designated databases, following standard follow-up timelines and protocols.
• Answer incoming collection-related calls and emails to assist members with payment settlements.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and PCI standards to protect sensitive health and financial data.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations Managers, Carrier Billing, and US AR teams) and participate in process-improvement initiatives.

Work Arrangement

• 5 days onsite; office is located in Ortigas, Philippines
