A financial services firm in Pasig is seeking an experienced Collections Officer. You will be responsible for collecting payments, negotiating debt settlements, and updating credit files. Candidates should have at least a High/Senior High School diploma and basic skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. A proactive and adaptable approach is essential for this role in a typically office or field-based environment with possible irregular hours.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a related field.
• Assist in daily operations, support senior staff, and complete assigned tasks.
• Proactive, adaptable, and a willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Collect payments via credit card or direct debit via phone.
• Negotiate settlements to accept a percentage of the debt.
• Log every contact attempt and the outcome of the contact.
• Remove settled debts and deceased individuals from records.
• Update credit files when debts are satisfied.
• Begin legal proceedings, such as foreclosure or repossession, when debts can't be settled.
