Job summary

Emerson Electric (Asia) Limited - ROHQ is seeking a Collections Specialist to join a dynamic finance team. You will provide first-line credit and collection services via phone and email to support financial and operational goals.

The role involves managing diverse customer portfolios, reviewing accounts for collections, sending monthly statements, and handling disputes with timely follow-up and escalation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or an equivalent field.
• 1 year experience in AR, Collections, Customer Service or Finance Operations.
• Willing to work the 1pm to 10pm shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned portfolio including strategic accounts, trading partners, intercompany and end customers.
• Review open/active accounts for collection efforts.
• Prepare and communicate monthly Statements of Accounts to all assigned customers.
• Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates (reminders before due date).
• Identify, validate and log customer disputes to initiate resolution and escalation.
• Perform initial investigation and communicate findings with proper owners/resolvers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Manage assigned portfolio which includes varying account types such as strategic accounts, trading partners, intercompany and end customers.
• Review open/active accounts for collection efforts.
• Prepare and communicate monthly Statement of Accounts to all assigned customers.
• Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates which would include pre-due date reminder calls/emails and follow-up on aging balances.
• Identify, validate and log customer disputes to initiate resolution and escalation.
• Perform initial investigation and communicate findings with the proper owners/resolvers
