Job summary

HSBC in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Manager Collateral Services to lead the collateral dispute and reconciliation function. You will coordinate with front office, risk and operations, and guide a team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of financial products, ISDA/CSA basics, and the ability to manage operational risk. Immediate right to work locally is preferred and relocation is not required.

Qualifications

• Supports Collateral Dispute and Portfolio Reconciliation function.
• Builds relationships with Business Partners across all business areas.
• Works with AVP/VP to ensure BAU functions per PLA.
• Shares knowledge with staff continually.
• Good understanding of financial products including equity/fixed income OTC derivatives; ISDA/CSA knowledge is a bonus.
• Continually reassesses operational risks in changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Review margin call disputes and reconciliation breaks to high standards.
• Escalate timely to operations management, front office and risk teams.
• Provide leadership and customer service per Group policies and values.
• Monitor team performance; ensure productivity and quality within timelines.
• Develop actionable strategies to address performance gaps and staffing needs.
• Address issues with line management to prevent recurrence.
