Job summary

DXC Technology invites fresh graduates to join its Production Support team in the Philippines. You will help ensure the stability and performance of business-critical applications running on mainframe technologies, gaining hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, JCL, and enterprise support operations.

Ideal candidates are BS Computer Science/IT/Engineering or Information Systems graduates with strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate of BS Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related courses.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of SQL, databases, and programming concepts.
• Eagerness to learn COBOL, DB2, JCL, Mainframe, and enterprise technologies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and support COBOL and DB2-based production applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents and system issues.
• Analyze batch job failures, application errors, and production alerts.
• Execute production support activities following established procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Assist in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures accurately.
