Job summary

Total Information Management Corp. is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud security solutions.

This role leads cloud security initiatives, develops security architecture standards, manages security risks, and ensures the organization's cloud environment remains secure, compliant, and resilient against evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a degree in ECE/CS/IT and at least 3 years of IT security experience, plus CCNA, CompTIA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as stated in the qualifications.
• At least 3 years IT security experience as required.
• CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CCSP, ITIL, CEH certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud security alerts, dashboards, and logs for anomalies or policy violations.
• Review and triage security findings from cloud-native tools and posture management.
• Tune detection rules to reduce false positives and improve signal quality.
• Review access logs and audit traits for unusual or unauthorized activity.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitoring & Detection:

  • Monitor cloud security alerts, dashboards, and logs for anomalies or policy violations.

  • Review and triage security findings from cloud-native security tools (posture management, threat detection).

  • Tune detection rules to reduce false positives and improve signal quality.

  • Review access logs and audit traits for unusual or unauthorized activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Computer Engineering, or Computer Science/Information Technology.

• With at least 3 years of IT Security experience.

• With Certification Requirements:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

  • CompTIA Security+

  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

  • ITIL Certification

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

• Knowledgeable about Cloud Computing Fundamentals:

  • Service Models such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and the shared responsibility model for each.

  • Deployment Models such as public, private, hybrid, or multi-cloud.
