Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to contribute core code and advance engineering practices for cloud-based solutions. You will apply design patterns and cloud expertise to raise quality and reliability across applications and platforms.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, mentor engineers, and drive observability and maintainability while ensuring high customer satisfaction. This role is onsite in Makati/Ortigas and requires a strong 5+ years track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and delivering solutions.
• Excellent understanding and experience with Design Principles.
• Prior experience with GCP and AWS or Azure is required.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Makati/Ortigas.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, scalable and maintainable code as a Core contributor.
• Apply design patterns, architecture and cloud infra knowledge to improve engineering quality.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to solve complex tech problems and guide strategy for applications/platforms.
• Mentor and strengthen the application/platform team to deliver high-quality work.
• Continuously improve code quality, product execution and customer satisfaction.
