Job summary

Slalom is hiring a Data Architect to join our Data Architecture & Engineering team. You will co-create scalable data solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, shaping next-generation data platforms for forward-thinking clients.

You’ll lead data architecture design, stay hands-on with data engineering, and collaborate with clients to translate requirements into effective data pipelines and architectures. This role emphasizes AI-accelerated approaches and leadership in delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineer with production-grade data solutions.
• Strong data architecture experience across current environments.
• Experience with modern cloud data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Comfortable in client-facing settings and translating requirements.
• Proven architectural leadership with delivery involvement.
• Exposure to AI-accelerated data engineering practices.
• Experience building data pipelines and platforms.
• Focus on data platforms, pipelines, and architecture over BI.
• Excellent communication across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve data architectures for client environments with scalable solutions.
• Contribute hands-on to building data pipelines and platforms.
• Balance architectural ownership with active engineering execution.

• Lead solution design and early discovery, including pre-sales support where applicable.
