AIA Digital+ Philippines is seeking a Cloud Platform Consultant (Azure PaaS) to lead and optimize platform operations, governance, and modernization across the enterprise. You will drive automation, 24/7 support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure reliable, scalable cloud services for diverse business units.

The role requires 7+ years in cloud engineering or Azure PaaS, strong governance experience, and advisory capabilities on PaaS adoption.

Formación

• 7+ years in Cloud Engineering, Platform Operations, or Azure PaaS.
• Experience in enterprise public cloud migrations and multi-region operations.
• Microsoft Azure and ITIL certifications preferred; multinational exposure is a plus.

The Cloud Platform Consultant (Azure PaaS) is responsible for leading the delivery and continuous improvement of platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and cloud operations across AIA business units leveraging AIA’s enterprise cloud platform, primarily on Microsoft Azure.

This role drives operational excellence across day-to-day service operations, including incident, change, request, and problem management, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and resilience. It focuses on the design, optimization, and governance of Azure PaaS services through advanced administration, automation, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead Azure PaaS platform operations, ensuring availability, scalability, and resilience
• Drive day-to-day service management, including 24/7 support, ensuring service stability
• Lead incident resolution and RCA, implementing preventive and automated solutions
• Provide advisory on PaaS adoption, guiding architecture and platform design
• Drive modernization advisory, recommending PaaS services and cloud-native patterns
• Enable onboarding to PaaS platforms, ensuring platform readiness, integration, and alignment with enterprise standards
• Define and enforce governance, standards, and security controls across PaaS services
• Drive automation, IaC, and observability, improving efficiency and performance
• Provide technical leadership, supporting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous platform improvement

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Operations, or Azure PaaS environments
• Proven experience in enterprise public cloud implementation, workload migration, and platform operations across large-scale, multi-region environments
• Strong background in Azure PaaS services, cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives
• Experience defining and improving cloud operating models, governance, and service reliability practices
• Demonstrated ability to work in global, cross-functional environments and collaborate with stakeholders and service providers
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure and ITIL preferred; experience in a multinational organization is an advantage

Strong hands-on experience in Azure PaaS and platform services, including but not limited to:

• Application & Integration: App Services, Login App, Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, Service Bus
• Data & Analytics: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, MS Fabric. Azure Open AI, Azure ML, Document Intelligence, AI Content Safety, Azure Cognitive
• Storage & Caching: Storage Account, Azure Managed Redis
• Monitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspace, Application Insights
• Others: Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Azure DevOps, Resource Service Vault, Enterprise Policy
• Multi-Cloud: Experience with other cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is a plus.
