Job summary

FIS Global in Manila, Philippines is seeking a Cloud Engineer Lead for a hybrid role (three days in-office, two days remote). You will lead design, delivery, and support of secure, scalable cloud networking across Azure and AWS environments.

The position emphasizes automation with Terraform, network security using Palo Alto technologies, and collaboration with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure reliable cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing cloud networking in Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and automation.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud network architectures across Azure and AWS environments.
• Build and support secure cloud connectivity solutions, including routing, segmentation, and firewall integrations.
• Manage and enhance network security controls using Palo Alto Networks technologies and related platforms.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform and automation best practices.
• Create scalable, reusable cloud networking standards, templates, and deployment patterns.
• Partner with application, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Lead technical reviews and provide guidance on cloud networking strategy, governance, and architecture decisions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical capability development across the team.
