Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience (L4 / Tier II equivalent).
• Strong hands‑on development experience in Golang (Go).
• Solid working knowledge of RPCs, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers (Protos).
• Proven experience building cloud‑native software and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, concurrency, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Golang.
• Build and integrate service communication layers using gRPC, RPCs, and Protocol Buffers (Protos).
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Contribute to the design of distributed systems, including service discovery, concurrency patterns, and fault tolerance.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, health checks, and prober configurations to ensure operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (developers, SREs, QA) through the full software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and uphold engineering best practices for maintainable, secure code.
