Job summary

IBM is seeking an Application Developer: Cloud FullStack in Manila to design and deploy cloud-based applications using microservices, integrating front‑end, back‑end and middleware, with data stored in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.

You will work across technologies including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate and Groovy, plus REST/SOA services, APIGEE and API Connect, to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-based applications using microservices and data persistence in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
• Proficiency with front-end technologies (Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5) and back-end tech (Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy).
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies to streamline development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience maintaining cloud environments with emphasis on uptime, access control, and security through automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Applications: Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using microservices design patterns, integrating front‑end, back‑end, and middleware components, and persisting data in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
• Apply DevOps Methodologies: Utilize DevOps methodologies and tools to ensure efficient development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate on Cloud Environments: Work with senior level practitioners to design, build, and maintain cloud environments, focusing on uptime, access, control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools.
• Integrate Multiple Technologies: Integrate multiple technologies, including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases, to deliver comprehensive cloud-based solutions.
