Job summary

SupportFinity™ is seeking a Software Developer in Metro Manila to enhance client services through creative software solutions. This role involves collaborating with architects, testing, and providing customer service throughout the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in Java, REST services, and Vue.JS, along with a Bachelor's degree. Knowledge of Japanese is a plus. This position requires flexibility for client-based schedules in Quezon City or Cebu.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Software Developer you will participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients’ hybrid-cloud and AI journeys. You’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, ensuring the applications delivered are high performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include

• Collaborative Analysis for Enhanced Solutions: Work together with architects and technical leaders to analyze feasibility of solutions and propose improvements to comply with architectural standards.
• End-to-End Involvement for Superior Customer Service: Involvement in every step of the process, from design, development, testing release changes and troubleshoot where necessary, providing great customer service.
• Strategic Stakeholder Engagement and Creative Problem-Solving: Drive key discussions with your stakeholders and analyze the current landscape for opportunities to operate and code creative solutions.

• Solid experience in application development using Java Web (J2EE) and REST Web Service
• Experience in Vue.JS, DB SQL (DB2)
• Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift, mid-shift, night-shift) and in any IBM location in Quezon City (UP Ayala Technohub) or Cebu.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Proficient in Japanese Language is a plus (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
• JLPT N1-N3 certification is a plus.
