Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a cloud engineering role focused on Kubernetes across Google Cloud Platform and AWS. You will design, deploy, and manage containerised workloads, build GitOps-driven automation, and help mature CI/CD across enterprise teams.

You will collaborate with security, DevSecOps, and platform teams to ensure compliant, auditable releases while delivering scalable cloud solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least three years of cloud engineering experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform/AWS.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise CI/CD tooling in large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of containerisation, microservices, distributed systems and modern architectures.
• Experience implementing GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of security, vulnerability management and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage containerised workloads and Kubernetes environments on Google Cloud/AWS.

The Successful Applicant

• At least three years of experience in cloud engineering with strong exposure to Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform/AWS.


• Hands-on experience supporting or administering enterprise CI/CD platforms, ideally within large-scale environments.


• Strong knowledge of containerisation, microservices, distributed systems, and modern application architectures.


• Experience implementing GitOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment pipelines.


• Understanding of DevSecOps principles, security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.


• Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Flux, Dynatrace, Prometheus, OPA, and container security platforms.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.


• Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced, and evolving technology environments.
