Job summary

CoDev Philippines is seeking a Cloud Engineer to own the data collection engine. You will build the Node.js logic in TypeScript that interacts with GCP APIs at scale, manage the containerized environment, and ensure infrastructure is version-controlled with Terraform.

You will supervise nightly extractions from multiple client GCP projects into our central BigQuery warehouse, collaborating with teams focused on APIs, cloud architecture, and automated deployments.

Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with GCP ecosystem and APIs.
• Understanding of structuring and loading data into BigQuery for downstream use.
• Expertise in SOLID TypeScript principles and production-ready code.

Responsibilities

• Own the nightly data collection engine pulling environment data from client GCP projects into BigQuery.

This role focuses on the "heavy lifting"—writing the Node.js logic using Typescript that interacts with GCP APIs at scale, managing the containerized environment, and ensuring our infrastructure is version-controlled via Terraform.

You will be responsible for the nightly extraction processes that pull environment data from a diverse array of client GCP projects into our central BigQuery warehouse. This is a role for an engineer who loves working with APIs, cloud architecture, and automated deployments.

Required Skills:

• GCP Ecosystem: Deep familiarity with GCP

• BigQuery: Understanding of how to structure and load data into BigQuery for downstream consumption.
