Job summary

You will collaborate with Analytics, IT, and DevOps to ensure robust data operations, event-driven workflows, and governed infrastructure across centralized reporting and system integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, preferably on GCP.
• Proven track record of deploying production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js for scripting and Cloud Functions.
• Experience working with modern data tools (Airbyte, dbt, Looker, Dataform).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver, or Prometheus.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, and access governance.
• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer, Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

Job description

We are looking for a technically skilled and solution-oriented GCP Data Engineer to strengthen our cloud data infrastructure. This role is central to building and maintaining automated, scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud services. You will work closely with our Analytics Engineers, IT , and DevOps teams to ensure robust data operations, event-driven workflows, and well-governed infrastructure.

Your contributions will directly support centralized reporting, system integrations, and the automation of complex data processes across KCC.
