Job summary

Artefact is seeking a Data Engineer in Manila to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions using Python, SQL, GCP, Snowflake and Databricks.

You will develop data pipelines, manage data warehouses, and collaborate with data science and business teams to deliver analytics-ready data. A Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering and strong communication skills are required, with a startup mindset for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and SQL with data pipeline development
• Experience with GCP and its data ecosystem
• Experience with Snowflake/Databricks for data warehousing or analytics
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and handling large datasets
• Advantage: Azure or AWS familiarity
• Understanding of ML workflows and model integration would help

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Manage databases and data warehouses for performance and integrity
• Design and deploy cloud data solutions focusing on GCP
• Work with Snowflake and Databricks for processing and analytics
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest and transform data
• Collaborate with Data Science/ML teams to integrate models
• Work with Spark and Kafka for big data processing
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
