Job summary

EY GDS is seeking a Cloud Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Engineering Team. The role focuses on building cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines, leveraging Azure, AWS, GCP and Snowflake across multiple platforms.

You will work with BI tools and scripting languages to deliver robust data solutions for EY clients. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to translate business needs into technical designs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in developing cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines using multiple cloud tools.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Qlik.
• Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Scala, JavaScript and SQL.
• Familiar with data modelling best practices for data engineers.
• Familiar with CI/CD development using DevOps / Git.
• Familiar with data architecture best practices on NoSQL, RDBMS, or Unity Catalog.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills for support roles.
• Good communication and presentation skills for gathering business requirements.
