Job summary

Manila North Harbour Port, Inc. is seeking a CCTV monitoring security professional to support port safety and security operations. You will monitor CCTV across the facility, passenger terminal, and restricted areas, report suspicious activities, and assist in coordinating emergency responses.

You will also retrieve footage, maintain logs and evidence, perform routine equipment checks, and ensure data privacy and confidentiality of recordings in line with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV across port facility, passenger terminal, and restricted areas to support operations.
• Detect and report suspicious activities, security breaches, safety hazards, and incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate emergency responses by providing real-time visual information to security and responders.
• Retrieve, review, and preserve CCTV footage for investigations and reports.
• Maintain CCTV monitoring logs, incident records, and evidence handling documentation.
• Perform routine checks on CCTV equipment and report faults or malfunctions.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of CCTV recordings per policies and data privacy requirements.
• Coordinate with security, screening operators, and terminal operations during incidents.

Job description

Promote a positive safety culture, adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures in alignment with North Ports’ values.

Continuously monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras covering the port facility, passenger terminal, and restricted areas.

Detect and promptly report suspicious activities, security breaches, safety hazards, and emergency incidents to the immediate superior.

Monitor passenger flow and activity, access control points, and screening areas to support smooth terminal operations.

Assist in coordinating emergency responses by providing real-time visual information to security personnel and emergency responders.

Retrieve, review, and preserve CCTV footage for investigations, incident reports, and management requests.

Maintain accurate CCTV monitoring logs, incident records, and evidence handling documentation.

Perform routine operational checks on CCTV equipment and immediately report any system faults or camera malfunctions.

Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of CCTV recordings and information in accordance with company policies and data privacy requirements.

Coordinate with security personnel, X-ray screening operators, terminal operations, and other departments during incidents and special operations.
