Job summary

Signant Health in the Philippines is seeking a Solution Engineer to design trial solutions, translating study requirements into system specifications across the eCOA portfolio.

You will collaborate with Sponsors, Clinical, GPM, and GTD to ensure designs meet study needs and are feasible within timelines and budget. Strong documentation, analysis, and cross‑functional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional experience.
• 2-3 years of experience functioning as Business Analyst or similar role.
• In depth experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation.
• Gathering information from a wide variety of sources and subsequently crafting it into effective and audience-appropriate technical and non-technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts between people and competing goals and interests.
• Desire for developing one's own skills: technical, clinical, and interpersonal.
• Have good communication abilities via writing, quality documentation and presenting in meetings.
• Needs to be an effective, positive team player, and a self-starter, with moderate level of guidance and direction.
• Must have very strong skills with Microsoft Office application to include Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for questionnaire configuration and system customization purposes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solution Engineers to ensure questionnaires, clinical trial protocol, and overall design requirements are understood and can be implemented.
• Produce functional requirements documentation based upon design requirements shared by Senior and/or Lead Solution Engineer.
• Utilize all available tools and information sources to understand requirements, including interviews/meetings, document analysis, use cases and workflow analysis.
• Update and manage requirements/specifications as needed throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Translate abstract or high‑level requirements into useful/actionable implementation details.
• Ensure best practices and standards are followed in every implementation.
• Liaise with Localization to facilitate the development of translated versions of the master questionnaire.
• Assist in posting data extract deliverables for projects.
• Creation of Custom Report requirements and deliverables
