Job summary

Angel Eye & Cataract Centre in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Optometrist with 8–15 years of clinical practice in an eye specialty clinic. You will join a dynamic, fast-growing Eye Specialist Practice in the Novena area, supporting doctors' clinical management and delivering high-quality eye care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing vision-related conditions, operating ophthalmic equipment, patient counselling, and assisting in clinic

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of vision-related conditions.
• Operate ophthalmic diagnostic and investigation equipment; training will be provided.
• Clinical evaluation of patients.
• Assist doctor during clinic operations and patient consultations.
• Assist with front desk duties including registration, drugs preparation and dispensing, and appointment scheduling.
• Educate patients on vision status and use of optical aids.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulations.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Senior Clinical Optometrists, with at least 8 to 15 years of clinical experience, in an eye specialist or ophthalmology clinic. Candidates should be registered with the Singapore Optometrists and Optician Board (OOB) and be keen to join a dynamic, fast-growing Eye Specialist Practice in the Novena area. He or She will work as part of the Team, providing high quality eye care and vision services to patients and to complement doctors' clinical management of patients.

Job descriptions

• Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
• Diagnosing and managing a wide range of vision-related conditions
• Need to operate ophthalmic diagnostic and investigation equipments. Training will be provided
• Clinical evaluation of patients
• Assist doctor during clinic operations and during patients consultation
• Assist clinic's general administrative duties in submission and logistic work flow
• Pre-operation, Post-operation counselling and Financial counselling for patients
• Front counter duties – registration, preparation of drugs and dispensing of medicine, collection of payment and appointment fixing
• Educate patients on vision status, high quality vision eye care and usage of various optical aids
• Handle the patient enquiries
• Maintain good condition of equipments
• Maintain accurate & detailed medical records for all patients and complying with all relevant regulations

What we're looking for

Only Singaporeans need apply. Fully Registered with a valid practicing certificate with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB).

• We are seeking experienced Senior Clinical Optometrists, with at least 8 to 15 years of clinical experience, in an eye specialist or ophthalmology clinic.
• Excellent clinical skills and a thorough understanding of the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques.
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Diploma/ Degree in Optometry
• Proficiency in multiple languages will be advantage

Working Hours

• 5.5 days work week
• Work location: Novena
• Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Monday to Friday) and 9am to 1pm (Saturday)
