Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions (Philippines), Inc. is seeking a CDI Specialist with a USRN and a strong clinical background to review inpatient and outpatient records, identify documentation gaps, and collaborate with physicians, coders, and staff to clarify diagnoses and procedures.

You will initiate physician queries, ensure documentation supports accurate ICD10CM/PCS coding, educate providers on best practices, and track CDI metrics; excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

Qualifications

• USRN with a strong clinical background is required.
• 1+ years of CDI experience with medical coding or clinical documentation review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient and/or outpatient medical records to identify documentation gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians, coders, and clinical staff to clarify diagnoses, procedures, and clinical indicators.
• Initiate and follow up on physician queries in accordance with compliant query guidelines.
• Ensure documentation supports accurate ICD10CM/PCS coding, Reassignment, SOI, ROM, and quality metrics.
• Educate providers on documentation best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Track and report CDI metrics such as query response rates.
