In this role, you will leverage your expertise as a licensed physical therapist to ensure the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation for patient care.

As a Clinical Documentation Associate, you will work closely with healthcare providers to review, validate, and improve clinical documentation, ensuring it accurately reflects the patient's treatment progress, diagnoses, and outcomes. Your insights will be invaluable in supporting effective healthcare operations, billing, and reimbursement processes.

This position blends clinical knowledge with administrative duties, providing you with a unique opportunity to impact patient care positively. We are looking for a proactive individual who has excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of clinical documentation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness

Requirements

• Current and valid license as a Physical Therapist
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist
• Must be able to work Saturdays, and the work hours are 11 am-7:30pm EST
• Experience in clinical documentation or a similar administrative role is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards and medical terminology
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Owned computer or laptop and stable internet connectivity.
• Knowledgeable in Office 360, Google Apps, and client-facing communication.
