Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking an experienced operating room (OR) nurse to transition into the rapidly growing field of surgical robotics and clinical applications. This role focuses on supporting robotic system installations, staff training, and collaboration with the manufacturer’s clinical team across the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with strong operating room/perioperative nursing experience required.
• Good understanding of sterile technique, OR workflow, surgical instruments, patient positioning, and OR protocols.
• Excellent communication with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and hospital staff; strong teaching and presentation skills; willing to undergo local and overseas training.

Responsibilities

• Support new surgical robotic system installations.
• Train OR nurses on system preparation, setup, docking, instrument handling, workflow and turnover.
• Assist in surgeon and hospital training programs with the manufacturer’s clinical team.
• Provide on-site clinical application support during initial robotic surgery cases.
• Help hospitals establish proper robotic surgery workflows and protocols.
• Coordinate with Medasia technical engineers, product managers, and the manufacturer’s clinical specialists.
• Provide continuing education and refresher training for hospital teams.

• Willing to travel to hospitals throughout the Philippines when required

Key Responsibilities

• Support new surgical robotic system installations

• Provide on-site clinical application support during initial robotic surgery cases
• Help hospitals establish proper robotic surgery workflows and protocols

Preferred But Not Required

• Experience in laparoscopic or minimally invasive surgery
• Experience assisting in urology, general surgery, gynecology, thoracic, or colorectal procedures
• Previous experience as an OR educator, charge nurse, clinical instructor, or medical-device clinical specialist
