Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. is a leading health maintenance organization and operates many clinics nationwide. This vacancy seeks a dynamic supervisor to oversee clinic staff, ensure timely service to patients, and coordinate with doctors on daily schedules.

The role emphasizes training, performance evaluation, and collaboration with Clinic Heads, with equal emphasis on accuracy, process adherence, and patient care. Applicants should have supervisory experience and appropriate health-care education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably BS Nursing, Med Tech, or Rad Tech and board passer.
• At least 1 year work experience in supervisory role.
• Average verbal and written communications, with initiative, organized and with patience. Skilled in admin works.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of attendance and ensures fast and efficient delivery of service to patients.
• Coordinates with doctors and dentists regarding daily attendance and changes in their schedule.
• Collates and reviews all reports of subordinates prior to submission to Senior Supervisor.
• Ensures the availability of accurate and timely results.
• In-Charge of training of new staff on clinic SOP and use of clinic management system.
• Perform re-training and coaching of existing staff regularly or as needed.
• In-Charge of doing performance evaluation of subordinates for submission to senior supervisor.
• Coordinates with other Clinic Heads for endorsements as needed.
• Attends department meetings with other Clinic Heads and other meetings as required.
• Coordinates with suppliers of clinic machine/equipment for issues encountered as needed.
• Render overtime when necessary after regular hours or during non-working days due to workload.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions for NFC/NCs or complaints involving subordinates.

Supervises all clinic staff to ensure smooth clinic operations of all sections.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily monitoring of attendance and ensures fast and efficient delivery of service to patients.
• Coordinates with doctors and dentists regarding daily attendance and changes in their schedule.
• Collates and reviews all reports of his/her subordinates prior to submission to Senior Supervisor.
• Ensures the availability of accurate and timely results.
• In-Charge of training of new staff on his/her specific role in the clinic, regarding clinic SOP, and use of clinic management system.
• Perform re-training and coaching of existing staff regularly or as needed.
• In-Charge of doing performance evaluation of his/her subordinates for submission to senior supervisor.
• Coordinates with other Clinic Heads for any endorsements as needed.
• Attends department meeting with other Clinic Heads and other meetings as required.
• Coordinates with suppliers of clinic machine/equipment for any issues encountered as needed.
• To render overtime, if necessary, after regular working hours even during non-working days due to workload.
• Performs initial investigation of NFC/NCs or complaints received involving his/her subordinates. Perform Root Cause Analysis and give appropriate correction and corrective action.
• Performs other related tasks incidental to the work described herein.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education : Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably BS Nursing, Med Tech, or Rad tech and board passer
• Experience : At least 1 year work experience in Supervisory role
• Other Skills : Average verbal and written communications, with initiative, organized and with patience. Skilled in admin works.
