The company seeks an assertive and organized cashier/accounting professional to manage daily collections, issue Official Receipts, and ensure accurate balance between payments and receipts. The role requires a BS Accountancy or related degree and at least 3 years of cashiering experience, with strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Issues Official Receipt upon acceptance of payment for the clinic.
• Balances total cash and check collection against issued receipts.
• Ensures all collections are deposited to the bank on the next banking day.
• Prepares billings for medical services, including pre-employment and availments for Cost-plus accounts.
• Prepares daily collection report.
• Prepares petty cash voucher / summary of Professional Fees of Doctors and Dentists.
• Processes and releases clinic's revolving fund.

MediCard now boasts of more than half a million members and over 54,000 accredited doctors in over 1,000 hospitals and clinics nationwide. It also operates 16 MediCard free-standing clinics that provide services at par with those offered by hospitals minus the confinement. MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy: Handles the daily collections of the clinic and issuance of Official Receipts. In charge in the safekeeping of collections by assuring balance between payment received and issued receipts, deposits collection and prepares billings for medical services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issues Official Receipt upon acceptance of payment for the clinic.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: BS Accountancy, Financial Management or any related course
• Experience: At least 3 years actual cashiering experience
• Other skills: Above-average numerical skills. Meticulous, systematic and organized.
