Job summary

Plan International Pilipinas seeks a Communications and Advocacy Officer to lead the project’s communications and advocacy efforts for the Climate Resilience Measurement for Communities (CRMC) project. You will craft strategies, manage digital channels, and build youth advocacy capacity while collaborating with CAC and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in development communication or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in communications, social media, and content production.
• Experience with LGUs and NGAs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork in project areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the communications plan for the project.
• Serve as focal point for digital engagement and online strategy.
• Support capacity building of youth advocates for climate communication.
• Draft and develop IEC materials for traditional and digital channels.
• Manage Plan International Pilipinas website and social media platforms.
• Lead the development of the Annual Advocacy and Influencing Plan aligned with the project’s three-year strategy.
• Support emergency response activities in assigned communities as needed.
