Job summary

Plan International Pilipinas is seeking a Communications and Advocacy Officer to lead the CRMC project’s communications strategy in Navotas and Manila. You will craft IEC materials, manage digital channels, and support youth advocates in climate advocacy, reporting to the CAC unit.

You will collaborate with project teams, senior staff, and consultants, with fieldwork as needed and a local compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in development communication, mass communication, public administration, or related field.
• At least one year of communications experience, including social media, web writing, and content production.
• Experience with LGUs and NGAs is preferred; strong digital platform knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the project communications plan and strategy.
• Drive digital engagement and manage social media and online presence.
• Build capacity of youth advocates to communicate climate actions.
• Develop IEC materials for multiple channels (brochures, infographics, audio-visuals).
• Support website and social media platform management and upkeep.
• Lead the Annual Advocacy and Influencing Plan aligned with the strategy.
• Provide guidance on advocacy activities and assist in emergency response when needed.
