Job summary

Plan International Pilipinas is seeking a Communications and Advocacy Officer to lead the project communications plan for the CRMC project. You will manage social media and digital strategy, draft IEC materials, and support youth advocates in climate advocacy.

You will collaborate with CAC Unit and Project Team to develop the Annual Advocacy and Influencing Plan and provide guidance on advocacy activities. Fieldwork in Navotas and Manila may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in development communication or related field.
• 1+ year in communications, social media, content production.
• 1+ year working with LGUs and NGAs.
• Strong understanding of digital platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in developing advocacy campaigns.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Development sector experience preferred.
• Excellent critical and analytical thinking.
• Ability and willingness to conduct fieldwork.
• Filipino national based in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the project communications plan.
• Manage social media and digital strategy for the project.
• Support capacity building of youth advocates for climate communication.
• Draft IEC materials for multiple channels (brochures, infographics, presentations).
• Maintain Plan International Pilipinas website and social media.
• Develop the Annual Advocacy and Influencing Plan aligned with three-year strategy.
• Support emergency response activities in assigned communities.
