Job summary

MinebeaMitsumi Cebu seeks a Cleantech Quality Control Engineer to enforce Cleanroom standards across our high-volume production lines in Cebu. You will develop and implement policies, monitor adherence, and drive improvements in dust control.

The role requires an engineering degree, 3+ years in manufacturing, and knowledge of Lean and quality systems. Relocation options available for the right candidate, with on-site work and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and problem-solving tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy, policies and processes to implement Cleanroom standards across the organization.
• Ensure Cleanroom standards are applied on all production lines and reviewed for effectiveness.
• Lead root cause analysis to prevent dust-related issues.
• Analyze production data and lab results for dust quality improvements.
• Collaborate with Yield Improvement Engineer for process enhancements.
• Verify that improvements are implemented on all lines (Suheitenkai).
• Facilitate FMEA to identify risks and actions.
• Support supplier qualification for sub-materials such as gloves and masks.

Job Overview

We are looking for Cleantech Quality Control Engineer to ensure that manufactured products meet the established standards of quality through development and implementation of Cleanroom standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop strategy, policies and processes to ensure effective implementation of Cleanroom Standards throughout the organization
• Ensure that existing Cleanroom standards and rules are implemented in all production lines, periodically reviewed and evaluated to check effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
• Drive problem solving and root cause analysis activities with concerning divisions to eliminate recurrence of dust-related issues
• Evaluate and analyze production data and laboratory test results to determine opportunities for dust quality improvements
• Collaborate with Yield Improvement Engineer to validate viability and effectiveness of proposed process improvements
• Verify and ensure that all process improvements are implemented to all production lines (Suheitenkai)
• Facilitate Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to determine impact of potential failure modes and identify action items to alleviate potential risks
• Support Production Team in the evaluation and qualification of new suppliers for sub-materials such as gloves, face masks, etc.

Job Qualifications

• A graduate of any Engineering course
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a high volume manufacturing company
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts such as Process Mapping, Kaizen and 5S Concept
• Knowledge of various quality system methodologies such 8D, Lean, 5 Why’s, Pareto Analysis, etc.
• Knowledgeable with the requirements of ISO 9001 and other Quality Management System
• Proficiency in a computerized database or document system as well as Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel
