Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to manage, supervise and direct claims operations cost-effectively.
• Set department goals and policies aligned with business plans to meet objectives.
• Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements in functional areas.
• Achieve KPIs and continuously improve overall service delivery.
• Act as escalation point on complex, denied or pending claims.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to provide direction and respond to issues.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external customers to achieve goals.
• Assess resource needs and provide leadership, mentoring and guidance for a high performing workforce.
• Manage budgeted resources, forecast costs and ensure fiscal responsibility.
