Job summary

WSP Philippines is seeking a Civil Technician to support project setup, drawing production strategies, and coordination with the project lead.

You will develop general arrangement drawings from sketches, ensure clarity and accuracy, and follow QA, document control, and CDM guidelines. Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in civil drafting, with CAD experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise, and Civil 3D; exposure to Australian projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any technical course or at least three (3) years in BS Engineering or BS Architecture.
• 3–7 years of civil drafting experience.
• Experience on CAD projects within a team.
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise; Civil 3D an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist project set up by agreeing drawing strategy, type and size of drawings and drawing numbering with project lead, and suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficient methods of working.
• Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing production with Project Lead.
• Develop general arrangement drawings from engineer’s sketches and other design team member drawings and details and develop sketches into co-ordinated details.
• Responsible for the clarity, completeness and accuracy of drawings and presentation materials produced.
• Adheres to prescribed drafting standards and procedures.
• Follow QA, document control, archiving & CDM guidelines on all work.
• Conscientiously works towards the group’s objectives and adheres to the company’s policy.
• Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Principal Civil Technician / Drafting Discipline Lead / Discipline Lead / Transport Manila Operations Manager/ Regional Team Executive in line with his experience, discipline or qualifications.

What we will love about you:
