Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or surveying.
• Minimum 5 years in civil estimating for large-scale tenders.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction disciplines incl. earthworks, drainage, roadworks.
• Experience with bidding strategies and tender reviews.
• Proficient in estimating software and Excel.
• Willingness to travel for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and tenders for civil works.
• Review drawings and prepare BOQs.
• Develop cost estimates aligned with budgets and margins.
• Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Lead bid strategies and pre-tender activities.
• Collaborate with planning, design, procurement, and construction teams.
• Support post-tender reviews and tender tracking.
• Develop estimating databases and improve processes.
• Mentor junior estimators or engineers in pre-contract activities.
