Job summary

Quanta Philippines ROHQ seeks a dedicated Civil Estimator to join our Manila-based team. You will prepare civil estimates, take-offs, and tender packages, coordinating with bid teams across NSW, QLD and other regions, ensuring accurate costings and timely submissions.

You will lead RFQ responses, liaise with engineering and project management to scope and price proposals, and contribute to the pricing database and tender strategies for high-risk construction environments.

Qualifications

• Strong quantity take-off skills and first-principles estimating experience.
• Proficient in Excel for costings and data analysis.
• Experience preparing RFQs and Bills of Quantities.
• Ability to liaise with internal bid managers and bid teams.
• Civil estimating experience in high-risk construction preferred.
• Civil engineering qualification preferred, but not mandatory.
• Willing to work full-time from Manila with overlap with the Australian team.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in evaluating opportunities and tenders; develop cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare technical submissions, RFQs, and tender packages.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Project Management to scope submissions and identify risks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify discrepancies.
• Attend site inspections and tender meetings as required.
• Estimate quantities and costs; propose construction methods.
• Review offers with management and update as needed.
• Submit and follow up on submissions; support post-tender negotiations.
