Job summary

R.Lapid's Chicharon & Barbercue Laging Bagong Luto is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the COO with civil engineering duties across food manufacturing, retail outlets, and related units. The role involves leading civil works, overseeing infrastructure projects, and ensuring on-time, quality execution.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a professional license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in construction, manufacturing facilities, or retail fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of Philippine building codes and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with food-grade construction standards and sanitary design.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering support directly under the COO as a shared services resource.
• Lead and oversee civil works, infrastructure projects, and facility related support across food manufacturing, retail outlets, and other business units.
• Support construction, renovation, fit-out, and maintenance activities to ensure timely and quality project execution.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and operational requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, assess structural conditions, and recommend corrective or improvement measures.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for effective project implementation.
• Assist in project planning, cost estimates, and documentation.
• Perform other engineering-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
