Job summary

HUBEI SHUIZONG WATER RESOURCES AND HYDROPOWER CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD seeks a Civil Engineer with hydroelectric project experience to manage on-site construction activities, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across dam, tunnel, and powerhouse projects.

Strong reporting and communication in English are required. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in hydropower facilities, with the ability to read complex drawings and supervise field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred/required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Must have experience in hydropower projects.
• Experience in dams, tunnels, powerhouse structures, roads, bridges, drainage, foundations, and other hydropower facilities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret structural and civil engineering drawings.
• Oversee site construction activities with strong safety, quality, and project completion focus.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare reports in English and present project progress to stakeholders.

Job description

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred/required.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant construction experience.

• Must have experience in Hydropower projects.

• Experience in construction of dams, tunnels, powerhouse structures, roads, bridges, drainage, foundations, and other hydropower facilities is highly preferred.

• Knowledgeable in construction methods, quantity take-off, material estimation, quality control, and site supervision.

• Able to read and interpret structural and civil engineering drawings.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of relevant engineering software is an advantage.

• Must be proficient in English and capable of preparing reports.

• Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Willing to work on-site and in remote/project locations.

GENERAL REQUIREMENT FOR ALL POSITIONS

HYDROPOWER PROJECT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
