Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a civil engineer to plan, design, and manage projects in the Philippines. You will prepare designs, cost estimates, and technical reports while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

You will conduct site surveys, supervise construction activities, and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle. Strong problem-solving and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects per specifications, codes, and standards.
• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Conduct site inspections, surveys, and feasibility assessments.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure quality, schedule, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material specs, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regs, and safety standards.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource use; recommend corrective actions.
• Identify and resolve engineering/construction issues to minimize delays and costs.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress, inspection, variation orders, and completion reports.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure works meet specs and client requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and junior staff.
• Perform other engineering duties as assigned by Management.

• Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure quality workmanship, adherence to schedules, and compliance with safety regulations.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Review and evaluate contractor submissions, shop drawings, material specifications, and progress reports.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and occupational health and safety standards.

• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource utilization, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve engineering and construction issues to minimize project delays and costs.

• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, inspection reports, variation orders, and completion reports.

• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all completed works meet project specifications and client requirements.

• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and junior engineering staff.

• Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by Management.
