Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Software Development Engineer focused on build automation and CI/CD to support the development and testing of software components. You will contribute to coding, debugging, and documentation as part of a collaborative team, with emphasis on automated builds and packaging, and release engineering.

The role requires managing end-to-end CI/CD workflows, artifact creation, and build dashboards across Linux and Windows environments, collaborating with multiple engineering teams.

Qualifications

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
• Build tools: Visual Studio, CMake, G++, Ant.
• Version control: Git, GitHub.
• Packaging: Install Builder, Setup Factory, InstallShield.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Batch.
• Containers: Docker.
• OS: Linux and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated build systems.
• Create and optimize build scripts using Install Builder, Setup Factory, InstallShield, Ant, Make.
• Ensure successful compilation and integration of code from multiple teams.
• Troubleshoot build failures and dependency issues.
• Configure and manage CI pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Monitor build health and optimize performance.
• Create installation packages and deployment artifacts.
• Coordinate releases and maintain release docs.
• Manage GitHub repos and ensure consistent configurations.
• Support security, quality gates, and compliance in pipelines.
