Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Active member of a local church with a strong commitment to serving local churches and children's ministry.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting and financial management experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance requirements, and risk management.
• Experience reviewing financial reports, transaction listings, audits, and organizational financial performance.
• Experience supporting, consulting with, or working alongside partner organizations.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring others, or supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen financial stewardship reviews and provide guidance on financial reports, transactions, and accounting practices.
• Help church partners strengthen financial accountability, reporting quality, and internal controls.
• Identify risks, trends, and opportunities that support healthier financial management.
• Review audit findings and support corrective actions when needed.
• Support churches in applying sound accounting principles and ministry-focused financial practices.
• Collaborate with Partnership Facilitators and Church-Facing Teams for a consistent partner experience.
