Job summary

Universally Speaking in Manila is seeking a Simplified Chinese LQA Tester with Japanese proficiency to ensure high linguistic quality across games. You will work with translators, testers, and developers to detect linguistic issues and ensure fixes meet standards.

You will guard language across menus, in-game messages, and texts, maintaining natural, accurate, and culturally appropriate content while following our LQA methods and contributing to test case development and workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• You speak LANGUAGE like it’s second nature and handle English with confidence, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with testers, translators, and developers to report linguistic issues clearly and ensure fixes are implemented.
• Guard language quality in every game, ensuring translations feel natural, accurate, and culturally appropriate.
• Test games using established LQA methods, documenting issues in bug databases and tracking progress.
• Draft and refine test cases, document findings, and contribute to best practices in LQA.
• Collaborate early with developers to shape how localization is tested and improved.
